Global Medical Reviews (GMR) is owned and published by S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, Almaty, Kazakhstan. The publisher supports the journal’s mission of disseminating high-quality research in medicine, biomedical sciences, and public health through an open access model.

1. Ownership and Responsibility

The journal is fully owned and managed by S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU). The University provides financial, technical, and infrastructural support.

2. Publication Model

• GMR is a free open access journal.
• Authors are not charged article processing fees or submission fees.
• Readers have unrestricted free access immediately upon publication.

3. Funding and Financial Support

Journal operating expenses are covered by KazNMU. The journal does not generate revenue from subscriptions, APCs, or paywalls.

4. Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board on academic merit without interference from the University administration or external organizations.
