Global Medical Reviews
ICMJE Recommendations
Global Medical Reviews fully endorses the Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals developed by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
1. Authorship and Contributions
Authorship must be based on substantial contributions. All authors must approve the final version and accept responsibility for the work.
2. Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose all financial and non-financial relationships, affiliations, and sources of support.
3. Peer Review Responsibilities
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and provide objective reviews. Editors must ensure fair, unbiased, and timely evaluation.
4. Protection of Research Participants
Applicable human research ethics, informed consent, clinical-trial registration, and confidentiality requirements must be respected.
5. Editorial and Publishing Integrity
Editorial decisions must remain independent of commercial influence. Mechanisms for corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern must be available.
6. Scientific Misconduct
Plagiarism, falsification, fabrication, and unethical conduct are investigated in accordance with COPE guidance.
7. Journal Policies
GMR maintains transparent policies for copyright, licensing, advertising, and sponsorship.
8. Manuscript Preparation and Submission
Systematic reviews must follow PRISMA. Prospective protocol registration in PROSPERO or another public registry is encouraged; if a protocol was not registered, authors are encouraged to state this clearly.
