Transparency and Best Practice
GMR follows the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.
Authorship and Contributorship
Authorship must reflect substantial intellectual contributions and all authors share responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the work.
Peer Review Integrity
Manuscripts undergo independent external peer review. Reviewers must respect confidentiality, act objectively, and declare conflicts of interest.
Handling Misconduct
Allegations of plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, redundant publication, or text recycling are investigated using COPE procedures.
Retractions and Corrections
Errors affecting the scholarly record are corrected. Fundamental flaws or misconduct may lead to retraction, and expressions of concern may be issued while investigations are pending.
2. Editorial Independence
Editors make decisions based solely on academic merit without external influence.
