Special Issues and Guest-edited Collections

Current position

All submissions are processed within regular issues. Proposals for special issues are not accepted at this stage of journal development.

Standards if introduced later

• The Editor-in-Chief remains responsible for all content.
• Articles receive the same technical checks and at least two independent external reviews.
• Guest-editor credentials and conflicts are checked and monitored by the journal.
• A guest editor cannot handle their own article or a conflicted article.
• Articles by guest editors undergo independent handling and may not dominate the collection.
• Sponsors have no role in reviewer selection or decisions.
