Journal policy
Post-publication Discussion and Letters to the Editor
Readers may submit evidence-based comments; significant issues are linked to the original article and may lead to a reply, correction, update, expression of concern or retraction.
Letters to the Editor
- Normally submitted within 12 months of the article’s publication.
- Up to 1,000 words, 10 references and one table or figure.
- Must address a specific GMR article and disclose competing interests.
- Must be evidence-based, respectful and not previously published.
Linking the record
Published letters, replies and notices receive permanent pages and are linked bidirectionally to the original article. When DOI registration is active, eligible items receive their own DOI and relation metadata.
